A FAMILY LEGACY OF GREEK HOSPITALITY
Our story began in 1973, when Lefteris Lignos, a Greek chef from Santorini, opened Sorba the Greek, Puerto Rico’s first Greek restaurant. Today, his son Alexander carries that legacy forward at OPA! Greek Kouzina, welcoming guests in Guaynabo and Condado with the warmth of Greek hospitality.
You can also bring the Greek experience home. As licensed importers, we bring wines, beers, extra virgin olive oils and other specialties directly from Greece. You’ll find them at our restaurants and select retailers across Puerto Rico.
Alexander travels regularly to Greece to explore culinary trends, visit the olive groves behind the oils we import and discover new products. These visits keep us connected to our roots and help us bring the flavors and traditions of Greece closer to Puerto Rico.
